Lymphoma is the seventh-most common human cancer with approximately 566,000 new cases and 305,000 deaths worldwide per year. It is a group of hematopoiesis-derived cancers, including numerous histological subtypes featuring various clinical behaviors. In an effort to deconvolute the underlying molecular signatures, Prof. Wei Yan and co-workers from SCSB performed a deep analysis of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL) proteomic data from 108 clinical patients. Their primary aim was to identify biomarkers and therapeutic targets in NHL with aggressive pathologic features to facilitate clinical translation in personalized treatment of NHL patients. These results were published by Phenomics in 2022.
