Shanghai Center for Systems Biomedicine takes national major demands and the forefront of disciplines as the starting point, focuses on national health, and takes three major diseases and three core technology platforms - "three verticals and three horizontals" as the development ideas，from cancer systems biology, metabolic disease pathogenesis in Chinese population, brain planning and human neurodegenerative diseases, to find breakthrough points in the field of infection and immunity, and carry out multi-center collaborative research and translational medicine research.
